Zanzibar, Tanzania

Zanzibar is off the coast of Tanzania and consists of the main island of Unguja and Pemba, an Island famous for its deep-sea fishing, coral reefs, and diving adventures.

The island is rich in culture and heritage, having once been a major centre for the slave trade. Zanzibar’s capital: “Stone Town” with its maze of narrow winding streets and alleys, is lined with historical buildings with thick coral stone walls, and beautifully carved traditional doors. Visiting the ruins of the Sultan Palaces and the baths for their concubines are a must for any historian or culture enthusiast.

Beautiful beaches with turquoise waters and fishermen’s dhows dotting on the horizon gives it the exotic paradise experience. Zanzibar also offers luxurious resorts serving excellent cuisine, water sports and a truly relaxing experience in this African paradise.
